Wisteria

doesn't the wisteria look magnificent, It's like this every year.

It rained a bit last night so after dog walk I decided to give the garden a rest and give the kitchen a real good clean, best laid plans, We had a visitor, Kirsty called to see us, she rang to ask if we wanted anything from Morrisons which I did so she got it for me, so it was a natter session when she came, but I did make a good start after she went off home, hopefully will continue tomorrow although I have a few other jobs to do.

Although overcast it has been quite a mild day, even the breeze was warm.

Today is my Dads Birthday he would have been 111 had he still been alive, I always laugh when we say things like that. We were talking about him today, he was a lovely man, would do anything for anyone.
 I remember one Christmas Eve when he was a delivery man, just as he was setting off for home his boss said a shop in Manchester had rung to see if they had a specific bike in as a customer wanted one for their little boy for Christmas Day and he couldn't get one anywhere, so my dad said OK I'll take it, and he drove over from Leeds on a cold winters Christmas eve night to deliver it as he didn't want the kid to be disappointed. My poor mum was going spare wondering where he was, we didn't have a phone in those days. But that was my dad.
