Waterfalls

I've posted this waterfall before, but usually I get photos of it in the early spring or late fall when there are no leaves on the trees.  I decided to stop today and get a late spring photo.

I stopped at 4 garden centers today and had the back of the truck almost full again. Lots of annuals purchased today. The garden centers were not as busy as I expected. The cool, cloudy weather means people are delaying buying their plants until it warms up.

At one of the nurseries, there was a couple there buying some plants. I was going thru the perennial section, picking out various plants. Then the woman approaches me and asks if I know where to find the liatris. I told her I wasn't sure, and that I hadn't seen any yet. She tells me that she wants some for a pollinator garden and shows me a picture on her phone. Then we both ended up going in the same greenhouse looking to see what was in there. I was looking at some yarrow and told her that butterflies like it. She didn't think she had enough sun for it. Then she found the liatris, after I told her to look for grassy type of leaves. Both of us continued shopping, then I was just leaving the cashier as they were getting ready to pay for their items. I think she would have told her husband to help me get my cart to my vehicle if I had said that I needed help when she asked. He held the door open for me. They were parked a couple of cars down from where I was parked. After I loaded my truck, I walked over to them, and told her I get asked questions when I am in a garden center all the time. She said I looked like I would know what I was talking about. Then I told her that I have a landscaping and gardening business. They live in Halifax and may need some advice, so I gave them my card. There was also an older man around, he asked me if I knew where the leeks were. I guess I just look like I am easy to approach and that I look like I would know all about plants.
I don't know if I dare go to any of the big box store garden centers this year, lol, I would likely have half a dozen people following me around asking questions.
One time when I was still working at a garden center, a friend stopped by to give me a ride home from work. He was early so he came out to the nursery to find me. I had a couple of customers that day, they were not together, but they both ended up following me around asking questions. My friend said he could tell they were both hanging on to every word I said.
The weather forecast says that temperatures are supposed to start rising on Tuesday. I hope they are right. These cloudy cool days are getting to me. The high temperature has been around 10 C for the past week, and the normal high is closer to 20 C.
