An early wake-up . . .

………………….. sunrise. What a treat!
We thought it might mean rain and wind but although there were massive lenticular clouds and some gusty wind, that was all. Maybe the rain will arrive overnight.
The gardens sure need it.

Church was intriguing, led by a Portuguese pastor, with a Colombian couple leading prayers and a need-based story & requests for help, and two Kiwi pastors adding in their insights on our particular church’s position and growth.
The music was marvellous too.

Then round to Remarkables Park to meet up with my daughter for lunch; smashed avocado on sourdough bread for me, and a snazzy version of bacon & eggs for A.
We were well satisfied!

Missy had a fairly short Village walk before an intriguing game of croquet. Peter who organises it, helps us learn to play, and try to plan and play a successful game. The balls don’t always end up where you want them to when opponents croquet them away from where you’d played them. I managed to hit the post first, mainly because my partner had played so skilfully!
