I heard rain during the night so it must have been heavy. The forecast for today was showery.

There didn’t seem to be a best time to go out to guarantee staying dry but my 9 o’clock start was good enough with just one light shower. As it’s a bank holiday weekend I stayed local and wandered up through Stock Ghyll wood past the waterfalls.

Treated myself to a cappuccino in Force Cafe (unfortunately it’s impossible just to sneak in and use their toilets) and was surprised to see it so busy with people having breakfast/brunch.
