From Bud to Flower

African Daisy at different stages of growth, all happening at the same time on my plant.

A dull day without sunshine and very calm. I read and baked bread. I’m out of practice, but I cut one slice and toasted it and spread it with almond purée (sometimes called almond butter) and added a small teaspoon of honey. It was very delicious! I’ll cut the rest into slices and freeze it.

When my children were growing up, I baked bread every week. The tantalizing aroma was part of their childhood and which they still talk about today!

I should get out for a walk and fresh air now. I hope that your Sunday has been a good one.
