A rose by any other name

I took a walk down to the busy A2. A slight detour put me in these tranquil gardens. You would think, after years of sneezing at plants, I would be able to name a few varieties of roses. The best I can do is say these are red ones.
Before I went out I had a problem putting on an old pair shoes. My poor toes were pinching and there was clearly a problem with the footwear. I struggled for a while, then decided to wear a different pair. As I put them away a very small wooden ball fell out. One of the joys of peripheral neuropathy is that you have little feeling or confusing sensations in your nether regions.
