Miffed…

… We’ve had a quiet day (of visitor left-over treats, food-wise). I love days like this. (And visitor days, just to clarify). I also made some cashew pesto, which is one of my favourite treats too.

I had my paintbox out to ‘play’.
As I did so I heard rain. It was dry and sunny on our side of the fence but raining heavily and spectacularly over the fence next door. My phone was to hand and I (thought I) shot some really great footage of this very weird phenomenon.
Obviously I failed to press ‘play’, so all I had after the event was two seconds of film of my foot!

Never mind!
It’s just a hark back to the old days, when we rarely had the camera to hand for fab and rare photo-opportunities, like elephants in the street (if the circus came to town).
Or UFOs (but that’s another story!).
