The Church Flower Festival

Today's blip is from the flower festival at the parish church of St Mary, which is in the village of West Charleton near Kingsbridge in South Devon. A model of the church is also shown in the blip photo. The flower show is being run to raise funds to maintain the building, and the continued use of the building by the community. This is the first flower show I have been to and I enjoyed the experience, including the background organ music and the coffee and homemade cake! We still just about managed to eat an excellent roast afterwards at the Bear and Blacksmith Inn in the nearby village of Chillington.
