Louth Canal

The local Navigation Trust have done a tremendous job clearing a section of the Louth Canal and building a slipway for paddle boarders and folk with canoes. Today was the official opening day. It was blustery and bright and lots of folk came to the opening event. It was such a great event and despite the wind lots of folk brought their paddle boards to join in the fun. You can now walk on a footpath to Tetney Lock and the coast. A great footpath about 7 miles long. I shall do it one day
