A productive afternoon in the garden

Today was one of those quietly satisfying days that leave you with dirt under your nails and a smile on your face. We started with a visit to our local garden centre - ostensibly for lunch, but of course, we didn't leave empty handed. I found some lovely pots I'd been eyeing for my rose and lavender, and couldn't resist bringing them home.

After lunch, we rolled up our sleeves and spent the afternoon tending to the garden.

Now, as the sun begins to dip, we're tucked away in the conservatory with steaming cups of coffee, surveying the fruits of our labour.

Simply joys, quiet moments, and a garden that's slowly coming to life - what more could we ask for?
