meh meh meeting

I attended a very long 3+ hours meeting in Didim this afternoon. It was the CoDA* AGM,  at the end of which it didn't feel like very much had been achieved, but then I guess most long AGM meetings are like that and at least this group of 35-40 people had the opportunity to meet and share common concerns for the difficulties animal lovers are facing with recent and rather cruel changes to the law here in Turkey regarding street animals.

The weather was pretty rubbish today. Very strong blustery  winds all morning, and completely overcast, all of which turned to light but steady rain in the late afternoon. So, I was happy when Gaby messaged to suggest coming to Akbuk for us to go out for dinner. By the time she arrived the rain had stopped and so with Rufus we strolled along the sea front to Akvarium restaurant for what turned out to be a pleasant, quiet and enjoyable couple of hours or more.
