Pick of the day

I accidentally cut the red rose while I was pruning the bay tree (one of my favourite jobs, the smell is amazing) so I cut a load of others to go with it. This is going to be my weekly summer project. I decided this after spotting my very tiny bud vase so I should be able to fill that at least.

Before all that I surprised myself with an 8:30 gym class which I enjoyed and a swim which is always nice. Scooted round the rest of the jobs then sat and enjoying a standardly boring but satisfying Monaco Grand Prix. Dinner, race across the world and Daisy came home happy from her Liverpool jaunt.
