LILIES OF THE FIELD

My LILIES are starting to bloom, which
is always an unexpected surprise. They
disappear, after they bloom, during the heat of the Summer. Then, they miraculously reappear in late Spring. For a week or so, this corner of my garden is fiery red.

My friends are arriving, in a bit, for dinner
& to play Canasta. They are all rusty, so
I may have a chance at winning.

It’s such a beautiful day, we may eat outside.
