It's an acorn woodpecker

I had to edit because the computer  froze and then immediately uploaded this before I wrote anything. I probably push buttons too fast. In any event this is the last of what I will bother you with from California. I have been pretty tired the last few days trying to catch up on 2 weeks worth of yardwork , house cleaning and other stuff, to really post anything.  The acorn wood peckers were just about everywhere except the city. But you could hear them  in the park and this one was posing in the garden of the Inn at Roundstone Farm  at Point Reyes which had the most beautiful garden complete with hummers and lots of pother bird life. 
Extras are the Golden Gate  Bridge, the Big Sur coast and the iconic California Quail (which are hilarious and so cute).
