Crossing the harbour

Not today unless you don't mind the very rough voyage. You can always catch a buss but it's a long way round the bay. There has been strong Northerly winds all day and apparently some "exciting" landings at the airport with wind gusts to 70 mph. The Bossess flew to Auckland very early this morning so I hope she makes it back tonight as the local news has coverage of a jet needing 2 very exciting landing attempts to get down this morning. The Boss met up with his Monday walking friends who were having coffee and cake at the local Post Office Cafe before walking home. In spite of the forecast it has not rained for most of the morning but I haven't seen any planes either.
