Light and shadow.  When not back lit these signs are easily readable. 
No campervans
No fires (people often have bonfires here) 
No tenting
Protect the sand dunes (there are none)
Watch out for resting penguins and seals (never seen any here)

What a dreadful night.  I loved the sound of the rain crashing on the roof.  But not so keen that the ground got so wet that the wind was able to pull out all of my awning pegs!  

However at least the blow up posts of the awning remained mostly standing and the awning remained attached to the caravan itself. I tell you, these blow up awnings are the best!
