Paella party

We took the car over to the Isle of Wight to drop Emma at the station and to transport the huge terracotta pot with a Osthamnus, or sea rosemary plant in it for a gift for JC. 

It was windy in the garden but sunny and everyone just poured in.  These friends of his cook giant paellas in the garden and the wine flowed and we had a lovely day.  Didn’t really do anything but look at the sea and chat. I am So glad I took a hat and was more pleased with my outfit than I was at our party. 

Home by about 8.30 and a quiet end to the evening.
