Melton Mowbray Artisan Cheese Festival

We were at the Melton Mowbray Artisan Cheese Festival today. It is UK's largest dedicated Cheese fair. 

We bought some cheese from the lady in the main blip. She was one of the award winners in the Festival. 

The extras are some photos of the fair including the three workshops that we attended: A history of cheese; Tasting and judging cheese; and cooking with cheese.

We were totally cheesed out :) by the end of the afternoon - tasting different kinds of cheese was the highlight of the day. A Gospel choir (runners up in Britain's Got Talent) sang beautifully in the afternoon, and an old London bus was a bar for the day. The ice cream man, the coffee woman and the stall selling cheese toasties were kept very busy throughout the day.
