Slow Runners Club

Nothing moves me like seeing people out running, and I love the running clubs that have sprung up in the cities and towns.

I must say that, anecdotally, the majority of runners I see out and about are young women in their twenties and thirties, and, indeed, at the Great Manchester Run on Sunday they announced that for the first time there were more women entrants than men.

We went out this evening to pick up a dresser for the miniMinx, and we passed this group along Chapel Street. I think perhaps it was a ‘slow runners club’, where - according to Hannah - they stop every kilometre so everyone can catch up.
