Gala

It was the annual village gala today. It’s always fun & raises a lot of money for local charities. Just a shame that it was grey & drizzling. Takes the fun down a couple of notches.
They also had classic cars in the car park. Every time I see old cars, I sob slightly at the ugly brutal lumps churned out now. Most of the stupidly big SUVs are difficult to tell apart.
We seem to have abandoned elegance somewhere along the way.
