Distant friends

One of the big disadvantages of moving house is that each time you do it, you inevitably leave friends behind. Glad that each time I go into the garden I'm reminded of some of those friends, who in the past have gifted plants, some from their gardens. This geum was a housewarming present from Cheryl and Ed, when we moved from Allanton in the Scottish Borders, to Wooler. It came from their garden, and was never very happy in the very shady courtyard in Wooler, but it seems to be thriving since it's been planted out here.
