Kiteboarding, Allonby

As it was cloudy and a bit damp in the Lakes, we thought a short walk over by the coast would be good. Went to Allonby, just north of Maryport and took a walk along the coastal path. The wind was very fierce, and really stung the eyes. However, I did manage some shots of this chap kiteboarding (and no ... I couldn't get the kite in the photo too, as the cables are really long and he'd just be a dot in the frame). He managed some pretty high jumps, I think he was a good 20-30 feet in the air at the peak of his jumps.
