Before, part two

Another before picture ahead of the new drive and patio. The front garden currently looks a mess (apart from the roses and the lupins). The plants have been neglected over the last couple of years with everything else going on in my life. There’s far too much hard standing, and it’s in really bad condition.

The plan is to realign the driveway, leaving a pathway for access to clean windows etc, and then it’s over to me for the plants. I’m thinking an area of wildflower meadow rather than a lawn, but still researching the best approach. Most of my neighbours have gardens that are very manicured, whereas my preference is for something more natural. I’m wanting plenty of colourful flowers for making my anthotype prints too!

I have taken my bike round to a friend’s garage for a couple of weeks and did a little more garage clearing, but I am feeling very tired. Largely because my brain decided that 5:20 would be a great time to wake up this morning, meaning I was short of a couple of hours sleep!
