Memorial Day
Today is a Federal Holiday, the last Monday in May, to remember and honor those who died serving our country. Flags are placed on their graves, parades are held, speeches made. It’s also a tradition to place flowers on graves of our loved ones. Unofficially it’s the first day of summer too, a day for cookouts, picnics and enjoying outdoor activities • MrsP and I sat on the deck enjoying bright sunshine and birdsong. I put up two more hummingbird feeders giving us three total. So far I’ve seen a male and female but hoping for more • Two animated squawking crows kept us entertained. Here’s one • Peace & Love
