So, this is a rather boring shot, but this was one of my chores today.
I started with removing plants from this table and tried to fit them in on other tables. That's rather difficult, since the Greenhouses are filled to the limit, almost, with plants. But, I managed the most, and then my boss made the tomato plants 'go away', because they needed replanting in larger pots, and the veggies I'd placed in 4 plastic - like those black containers in the photo. I don't have the energy to look up the proper English word, so the photo will have to do.... and then we placed those on a table, to be dealt with later.
These pots with soil have been standing like this for weeks and weeks, waiting for plants that don't seem to arrive. So today we, or rather I, had the task to empty them. When I took this photo, I'd already emptied 6 plastic thingies with double or tripple layers of pots, in the black large bin you see on the cart. Then off to the large compost and in again to do the same over and over and over again. I took a break to sweep the large table I was emptying, because it isn't ours, we've just loaned the space from the Park. But now, the Park has so many plants to sort out what table is what 'destination' (could be a bridge, the city park, or somewhere else), so they needed it back. They also worked further down the greenhouse, so I had to watch out for larger carts with plants, people and legs, when I went to empty my bin. It was hard work... but I like it. I also got teased by one of the Park personell, and we had a laugh.
In-between we had 2 rock blasting, so we needed to go outside, and we had customers and the phone was ringing and I was on my feet almost my whole work shift. And I managed just over 12600 steps, so that was good. :)
My boss is so funny... She's like... 'Anna, I just need to talk to M for 10 minutes, I'll be with you after that', so I went and had a chat with a coworker and then came back and she's like 'R, we need to talk, can we do it now' and I just... oh, well... I'll go start, I know what table it is. Then I see her walking towards me and I'm unloading plants at a table, and she says 'M, can we have that chat now?' and I just... oh, well.. I'll just continue doing what I'm doing...
Much later, after the second rock blasting, I catch her and says 'I'm almost finished, can you come and talk now?' and she just stands there with her phone and answers 'Yes, I'm coming', so I stand and wait... and a coworker of mine asks if I'm going to this other place, so I explain to her, in a joking tone, that I'm waiting again for my boss and tells my coworker what she's been doing. My boss, finally comes with me, says with a big smile 'Are you talking about me??' and we continue joking.
That's also when we decided that the pots are going to be emptied and first she would do it, then we could do it together but the she couldn't find our large yellow cart, so finally I said 'Why don't I do it like this?' (with the large bucket and cart), and she agreed. Since I didn't manage to get all of it emptied out, I asked her if I could please continue tomorrow. She agreed.
I also have sword practice tomorrow x2 and I'm looking forward to it. :)
I'm so tired, though... of to bed now, will check your journals tomorrow.
