A quiet day.

A dry dog walk in the morning.  Caught up with ironing after lunch.   Finished reading The Wild Silence by Raynor Winn and now chosen Barbara Kingsolver's The Lacuna.  

Rain has swept in this afternoon and evening and it gardens in this region will get a drink tonight and tomorrow.
