Chapel Le Ferne

Ha - fooled you. No we have not crossed over the sea yet even though it sounds like we should be in France with a name like that. A new camp site that L discovered or was recommended - she can’t remember, but it is very pleasant and about 4 miles from Le Shuttle. It is a bit windy and cool but we had a pleasant trip down courtesy of the Bank Holiday which meant fewer cars on the road because of the changeable weather and especially driving around the back end of M25 at about the beginning of the normal rush hour.

Went for a short walk around the countryside area and happened upon these petrified ducks in a swamp! If you look carefully you can see them behind L to the right - I thought they were real for a moment but they were completely lifeless - odd decoration for this little stagnant pond!

After a G&T and a lamb curry with naan bread we settled down to blip and some BG work for me.
