Today is Memorial Day here in the states and I drove out to Sarasota National Cemetery to pay my respects.  Every headstone had an American flag in front of it for Memorial Day.  The flags will be there until Saturday.  It's absolutely sobering to see such a sight.   In  December each headstone has a wreath at the base, equally heartfelt.  
My brother is buried in Arlington Cemetery in Washington D.C.  He and another brother served in the Marines and were in Vietnam.  Youngest brother served in the Navy for many years.  Thankful for all those who served our country.
