Taken last week but I’ve not taken any photos today.

Have I mentioned before that I hate shopping! I particularly hate crowds, queues and loud music of someone else’s choosing playing through the malls. But, Megan was going to the outlet only half an hour from me and it was a great idea to meet for lunch. Yesterday James and Liz decided to join us.

I should have known better on a bank holiday! Traffic was a nightmare and the closest car park already full. Directed to the south car park, the opposite end to where I wanted to be, and as I crossed the road managed to trip up/ down the kerb and go flying!

I just can’t get excited about shopping! And the queues!!! A waiting line and ‘bouncer’ albeit a gentle looking lady outside Birkenstock. They’re clearly having a revival!

Despite all the shops there are limited restaurants and James had decided we should try a pub/restaurant, walking distance from the outlet. Not far but up, over and around on a bridge over the dual carriageway. Lived here ten years and never heard of it before, but what a find! Lovely food, good service and reasonable prices.
