……..underneath the duvet!!! Looking like he’s been hauled through a hedge backwards!

No deer today in the wood, but we saw one tiny grey squirrel.
The usual birdsong; chiffchaff, willow warbler, song thrush, and wren. There were several skylarks above the field. I really like when the only sound I can hear is the skylarks.
I could hear a raven above the wood, and he was aggressively chasing away a buzzard. This is the second time I’ve seen this happen in the last week. I’m thinking, perhaps the ravens are protecting a nest.
