A walk by the beach

Today we were forecast to have some rain so we decided to go out for a walk in the morning when it should be drier.

We all set off for the playground by the beach. Unfortunately there were a few drops of rain which caused the older grandson to start complaining that he wanted to go home. There really was only a very few raindrops falling. He was ignored and we managed a short walk along the beach before heading back home.

The afternoon was relatively dry and l managed to get the french beans planted on the allotment. Once l was back we gave our youngest grandson one of his birthday presents. It was a toy cat that makes various noises including purring and singing. He was very happy.
