Chasing butterflies
Thank you for your generous response to yesterday’s family shots - much appreciated!
Today (Sunday - I’m very behind again) the weather is surprisingly pleasant, though there’s a very blustery wind. We decide to go to Pensychnant where we hope we’ll be able to enjoy tea and home made cake in the gardens - and we’re not disappointed! It’s beautifully sheltered here, and it actually feels hot sitting in the sun.
The gardens are very ‘natural’ in style, primarily ngeared up to attract pollinators, so there are many bees and butterflies enjoying the delightful collection of flowers. The butterflies are mainly Orange Tip and Green Veined White, both varieties fluttering randomly amongst the blooms, reluctant to settle and making photography challenging!
My main’s an orange tip, with a green veined white in extras, and a couple of in flight shots.
