I Witness

Mono Monday ...

... Not Camera shy.

We have had a very nice Memorial Day here ... with lots of things done.

First and foremost I sat outside in the sunshine with my camera in hand ... waiting for anything and everything.  This chipmunk didn't disappoint when I put out my Memorial Day flag and chair.  And she even brought around one of her young ones ... first little one we've seen this year so far.  We only saw one so she either only had one this breeding season or it's, sadly, the only one to survive.  There may be others but we only saw one with her today.  Please have a look full screen.

And then after lunch we went up to Graver Arboretum for a wonderful walk in the park ... also with camera in hand.  I've added into Extras a collage of two pictures taken at the arboretum ... a young white-tailed buck and an American bullfrog.  The Eastern Black Swallowtail butterfly photo was taken at home earlier.

Thanks to DonMac21 for hosting Mono Monday all this month.  As this is Memorial Day in the States I've taken the liberty to keep our American flag in color.
