That was good reading

I enjoyed this historical fiction novel. It was set in England during WW1 and gave a great insight into the postal system, handling millions of letters and parcels being sent to the solders fighting for their country. It included family life and of course a love story plus many historical facts from that time. 

I had almost given up reading a hand held book due the strain on my eyes. I am pleased I gave it a go and kept it to just a couple of pages at time.
