Casey Got the Ball

Three kids on the block, throwing a blue, plastic baseball, managed to get it stuck in a walnut tree. We were on our way back from a walk and found them knocking on the neighbor’s door for help. So Eric fetched our old, telescoping pruner, and I backed the pickup under the tree. Then Casey climbed on and poked the ball out. We have eight kids on our block; never a dull moment around here.
