Azalea and Oxalis

Only the middle of August and there are spring blooms everywhere. We had the warmest recorded July and it has made everything come on early. It feels very strange to see all the spring abundance blooming where we really should perhaps only be seeing fattening buds and the very early prunus and rhododendrons exclaimed with a few brave daffodils in sheltered corners.
Maybe we will have a long hot and dry summer!!
