..... to smell the flowers. These peonies have an amazing fragrance, even hubby has remarked.
An early Tesco visit, back at Mum's unloaded, unpacked while Mum had breakfast, walked Indie. Received a message from Jane. Her hire car was'nt available for collection at 10am. She got dropped off at Mum's at 10.15. We drove to Kingsteignton. I bought a pair of trousers for hubby yesterday through the self service. I did'nt remove the security tag. Did'nt realise until we got home, so returned to get it removed. Duh!!! Silly me! I'll know next time. Jane had a "Grandma to be" moment, purchasing a cute pair of tiny shoes, & sun hat. Little girl due in November.
Drove into Newton Abbot, parked for free in Asda, I nipped down to Boots, Jane browsed in Austin's where we met back up for coffee & cake.
Drove Jane to car hire company at 12.30.still no vehicle.. Rubbish service by Enterprise. I dropped Jane back to Hennock via Mum's. Jane needed a set of measuring cups to make brownies for the church lunch on Sunday. Said farewell to Jane, next time we meet will be at Grantley Adams Airport, Barbados. She flies home next week.
I drove back to CK gave mum her lunch, fed Indie, then headed home.
Late lunch for hubby & I.

It's been grey, damp, & chilly today. A drop of rain, but not enough really.
