Hello Melbourne!

The long flight was ok, but I prefer longer layovers. Through immigration and quarantine inspections quickly and headed in the wrong direction to my hotel.. the things I tell myself.. a much needed shower then jumped on the shuttle bus into the city to meet a friend. Are the trams free? I couldn’t remember and made the wrong call to get across the city centre. We met in Federation Square, the air was fresh and clean.
A lovely time catching up with C, a friend of 20 years. Was good to see her. The shuttle bus back and nice to rest, although I didn’t sleep well.
