Stinking Iris

Another long day visiting my husband.
 
Today’s picture is of a Stinking Iris, which I noticed in the front garden as I walked to the railway station this morning. I did not plant it and I have not noticed it before. It is a species of Iris found in open woodland, hedgebanks and sea cliffs; clearly it is found in my garden too!
 
Temperature today – Once again it is fifteen degrees Celsius.
