Special family visit to look around Drax Power Station this morning. This site is the biggest maker of electricity in the UK . . . and provided a fascinating backdrop . . . no pictures of the Control  Room allowed.
Not a busy day for them . . . only 1 turbine in use . . . as the Network was being topped up with wind power . . . get those beans on the cooker. Extras include one of the special pellet trains supplying fuel to the plant. Each train of 25 trucks can keep the place going for . . . two hours !
