Air scenting (Day 3673)

A standard start to the day with a wander up the hill with Sigyn, then a few small household chores before I headed through to Stromness to do battle with our trailer. One of the brakes is stuck on and I'm not well versed enough in trailer brakes to sort it, so the plan was to get the trailer to the guy who can fix it. His suggestion to run it with one wheel missing seemed reasonable, but I wasn't sure how legal it was, or how well the trailer would tow on three wheels. It turned out to be fine and I got to his place with no problems. I passed the police as I left to head to town having dropped the trailer off.
After a quick visit to town, I did a few other household chores before sitting on the couch with Sigyn for a while.
After lunch Sigyn and I headed to Lyde for a wander. It was very windy, but not too cold. Sigyn took advantage of the strong wind to do some air scenting before bounding off in the heather towards whatever it was she thought she could smell.
Back home for a while until I was collected by my beautiful wife for a trip to the horses.
