Change of plans

M was supposed to be coming for lunch but she messaged last night to cancel - think she is in a bad way with her back/tummy but can't have more surgery.  I watched the films this morning and played my 'memories' playlist - cue tears and a long chat with Aimee in her room.  The sun was out and it was quite nice first thing so I decided to pick some roses and take them up to the Bluebell Wood.  The bluebells have long since gone and the ground has been trodden around her tree (I guess walkers have deviated off the path to see her picture).  Aimee loved flowers as much as I do and I know that each season there will be flowers that remind me of her.

I popped into town afterwards just as the weather changed and started to rain - nails and toes done then home for some sewing and pottering.  Visit from kitchen fitter to look at the door on the fridge that doesn't shut properly.

Nothing much else.  Cold wet day - here's hoping the sun comes back in time for our trip to Scotland?
