Samye Ling

It’s been too long since I posted on blip.
Today I went on a community trip to Samye Ling. We met Lama Yeshe at the Stupa and he talked about the importance of supporting one another and being compassionate.
The Buddhist Temple was build by volunteers over a period of 10 years. We were given a tour by Nick who helped to build the temple all those years ago.
We enjoyed a relaxed lunch and walk around the grounds. Some of us sat in the temple as a woman chanted Buddhist prayers. It was a beautiful experience.
I bought some new prayer flags for my back garden .
