Morella

I had a sore throat during the night (patchy sleep) and woke up with a summer cold (I suspect I picked it up from son no 1). I didn’t feel great but Mr P and I had arranged an overnight visit to two new towns; Morella and Mirambel. Son no 3 has always recommended that we visit Morella. It was one of the towns he loved to visit when he was a teaching assistant in Castellon.
It was a 2 hour car journey from
Valencia (through fields full of poppies). We climbed up to the castle (exhausting but fab views) and explored the cathedral and old town. Wonderful place. Definitely worth a visit. After a late lunch, we relaxed in our hotel in the evening. I’m feeling a lot better tonight. Mirambel awaits tomorrow.
