The Travelling People

Driving through Gargrave this morning on our way to Tesco we saw these travellers. I asked if I could take a photo and the young fella said yes. The horses were beautiful and so well groomed. The one on the left is Gypsy and the other one Violet.
We’ll see quite a few over the next few days as they make their way to Appleby Horse Fair and have to go through our village on the busy A65.
We did our big shop in Tesco’s - I can’t believe the cost of everything now!
It’s been mixed weather today but we got some washing almost dry outside.
Our garden has been mobbed by Starlings, the youngsters have discovered the bird feeder and were going crazy! They are so noisy!
