Almost finished!

These were the roses I started putting together yesterday… I’m exceptionally pleased with them.
I’ve now got a ‘plug in’ soldering iron as opposed to heating them up on a hot plate, but it came from the continent  and tends to get a bit hot… I think I’ll look to getting a low ish wattage UK one . M has been going through the Physics of the, with me! 

The extra is my ‘willow’ leaf dye…l it’s much bolder than any of the examples I’ve seen, so perhaps we have particularly tannin rich willows?
