Reflecting

This sculpture is “Infinite Accumulation “ by the Japanese artist Yayoi Kusama. It was installed outside the Elizabeth Line Station at Liverpool Street in 2024. Can you see my reflection? ( I’m wearing red).

We packed up and cleaned the cottage after breakfast and then took the dogs to the park. I got a lift to the station at Wickham Market where I waved goodbye to the others and set off to Uckfield. I walked between Liverpool Street and London Bridge. I quite like London in the rain.

It was sad to arrive here and see Dad’s shoes in the hall. Mum seemed ok, though, and we had a cup of tea and a chat before my sister arrived. It was the first time I’d seen Mum since Dad died. We went out for an meal at the Indian restaurant at the end of the road.
