Fried-Egg Plant

That’s an unpleasant handle for such a striking flower, but you can see why it has that nickname. They can get pretty tall; sometimes a clump is over six feet high. Adding this to your garden would be a real commitment and I’m unwilling to give up the space. I do love seeing them on my walks though. The combination of delicate crinkly paper-thin petals against the assertive structure of the leaves and stalks is very compelling.
