Quite a lot of rain

The water butt is filling up. I spent the morning doing various chores, both desk based, and hoovering. The afternoon was nice, as I met a young friend in a cafe in Clifton for cake and catching up. She’s been travelling and working in catering type jobs since she graduated with a first. Only 24, there’s plenty of time to take work seriously in the future. I know her because she used to live a few doors away, and as a teenager fed my (before Portia) cats. 
I got really wet in the rain again today…. Here are some self planted foxgloves in my garden, I do like them
