Rain Games

Camping in the rain is not for the faint of heart. We are seasoned campers and still we struggle. First trip for the season, we’re at Dolly Copp WMNF. Kaylee and Miles have joined us, opting to sleep in the back of the SUV rather than set up a tent. The temps will be near freezing overnight with rain and freezing rain. There is snow atop Mt Washington!!!

They all plan to hike Sunday and we’ll stop at REI tomorrow to grab spikes for Kaylee and Miles for added precaution.

We stayed nice and warm in our screen room, side walls and fire pit.
